How It Works?
The Inman Aligner is made of nickel titanium instead of stainless steel. This allows it to feel better in your mouth than other products. It has a lingual coil spring in the design. This spring adds just enough pressure to the back of the teeth slowly to reposition them into place. A bar is placed at the front of the teeth for additional pressure. They work together to squeeze the teeth into alignment.

What Can You Expect?
This procedure takes about two, 30-minum appointments and then a 15-minute check-up every month. Overall, you can expect to see results in 6 to 16 weeks.

This is not a new procedure as it has been in use since 2000. In the United States, about 450 to 500 patients receive these appliances monthly.

The procedure does not hurt, though some individuals take mild painkillers for the first week or two. You may notice that your mouth is salivating more than normal and your speech could seem a little different until you get used to the appliance. This takes about a week to ten days.
